They make high speed drill bits which are seated in hex bits. They are meant for powered screwdrivers with a dedicated hex socket, instead of a chuck. I’ve never had any interest in the things, since small bits break. A lot. Regular high speed drill bits are cheap to replace. These hex footed bits are way more expensive.

I realized today that I can fit these hex-footed drill bits into the Leatherman bit extension. Neat. They don’t weigh much, and you never can tell when you might want to drill a hole in an emergency. I’m going to add a few to the vials of nails, screws, and eye-screws in my various kits.
