Sweet, just made it back, and have 1.5 hrs to spare.

Did not buy anything, but I think I narrowed the revolver choices to either:
-Smith and Wesson 638 Airweight 38SP+P, 1 7/8 Inch, Glass Bead, Fixed Sights, Rubber Grips, Shrouded Hammer, for around
-Taurus Protector 851SS2ULT 38SP +P 2 IN Titanium

they are both in the low $4xx range. Taurus is lighter as i recall, but for the same money, may be better served going S&W. I should look into which can be made to have the best trigger... on another note, it was hard not to fall in love with the Kel-Tec PF9. very slim and trim, and likely a nice carry piece.

I think I will still check out a few pawn shops, but likely go to a near dealer and try to work out a deal,... as their are a few other toys I am eying as well.
