But, I personally feel the blade should be pretty close to 8".

The Chopweiler had a 7.5" blade, but the handle extends about .5" higher into the ricasso than the Res-C. So, really, a comparable blade would be about 8" on a Scrap-Weiler with Res-C. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Also, the Yard Guard and Hook already had a 7.25" blade. I think the Scrap-Weiler should be a little longer. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
