The LE is 4 ounces lighter than the original DF. It is faster in the hand and less blade heavy. The LE is .25" thick and flat ground. The DF is about .285" thick with a saber grind.



The full flat grind of the DFLE has a shallower angle from edge to spine in addition the uncoated blade will have less drag.
