Well, I decided to go on a little hike today on the coast at a state park. It was a beautiful day! Nice and sunny without much for clouds in the sky. I think it was probably about 65 degrees by the water and about 75 degrees at the top of the peak that I hiked up. Here are some pictures for you all:

First, a couple pictures down by the water:

This trail took me out over a small cove:

The state flower:

Next I turned around to go up the peak. Here's a view of the cove from my first short stop:

This was from the top of the peak, looking away from the beach:

Here's one looking down at the cove and my second picture stop. The "1" is where the first beach pictures were taken, and the "2" is on the other side of that small hill where I took the other picture looking down on the cove:

Of course, I had to bring a knife or two. That's a Dumpster Mutt and Ranger knife. There weren't any trees so there wasn't much reason to take them out (especially with sheeple around).

And last, the footwear that got me up the 1300 foot peak (I know, some might think I'm crazy for wearing those for a hike, but they are designed for the outdoors).
