i first warn you that if you click you may, as i did, become obsessed. for months on end i was up until 5AM at my computer looking for articles, research, and stories about crystal lattice structure, carbon solubility, impurities, and any writing including the words austenite, martensite, ferrite, pearlite...list goes on.

please start a new thread rather than resurrect these.
