(Now to really kick the hornets nest..) At least Gov. Arnie is trying to get new cars to do more than 10 mpg in Cali.. Seriously he asks the big car companies to improve the mpg within 10 years to the point that the Chinese have already reached and they try to sue him.. In Europe most normal cars average 30 to 40 mpg. (With the petrol price here it's just as well- that's Gordon Brown's fault too!!)

Summary.. some government ideas are good, some suck!
