A ganzza style system would work better on their part, save them from having to deal with refunds.
I dont see anything wrong with limited quantities, it's not like it would affect their sales, they'd still sell out on every run, it might just take 10 minutes instead of 2.
Even if you could only add a couple to your cart at a time, check out, then go back for more. Or just limit it for the first few minutes.
I think almost everyone here was very quick, sitting at their computers for half an hour refreshing, and even us losers were probably within a minute or even a few seconds of the winners.
I've got nothing against first come first serve, no one should get preferential treatment, but if some individuals are causing a lot of disappointed customers just so they can line their pockets why not make an adjustment for the sake of their fans?
I remember seeing a piece on the news when the iphone came out. This woman paid some kid $500 for his place in the front of the line so she could buy ALL the iphones and hawk them on ebay. [censored] was it satisfying to see her reaction when they told her 1 per customer and everyone laughed at her, especially the kid who still got one in spite being at the back of the line.
