I thought I'd get some training in for when the S7 comes by carrying my MOD4 when I hiked today ( they should be around the same size with the S7 being a little lighter due to the res-C handle ).


As this hike is nearly all up-hill I started to regret bringing the added weight of the MOD4 !!!

A much needed rest stop....

This gnarly terrain is hard work !!!

The views near the top were spoiled slightly by mist !

Not that Maisy is interested in views, as long as she has sticks she is happy !!!

I soon came to this mountain lagoon and thought it a good rest spot before my return....

Maisy kept watch whilst I poured some tea and took some more pics of my blade...




You know I'll be the first to admit that a Mora would make better feather sticks etc but this beast can still get the job done and seeing as I ask for my knives to be able to chop, hack, pry and butcher I would take a knife such as this over your Mora type blades any day !!!


At this point my tea was gone and it was time to return to the parking lot !!!
