M-INFI is more comparable to SR-77.

The easiest way to put it is, it's SR-77 stainless.

They took out a bit of Cobalt. So the edge retention isn't as good, but has a higher impact resistance. If M-INFI could do 2700 push cuts INFI could do 4000+ push cuts. Jerry did a test some time ago with INFI. Even at 2700 cuts, the knife could still shave. I'm pretty sure it's also cheaper to make Mod-INFI. As most of the European lines were made with MINFI, the Basics. You can see why, international shipping is expensive.

A M-INFI SYK would be great. Price-to-performance ratio would be one of the best. However, getting some M-INFI is gonna be hard.
