yeah send some smoke and hope the district attorneys office doesnt charge him with murder or manslaughter and charge him as an adult.i dont put anything past the legal system now-a-days.

as unfortunate as it is,good for him for doing what needed to be done and thankfully he still has a mother.hopefully he doesnt have to see her through a plexi-glass window for the next 15yrs of his life.

aside from my mother of course i would probably hesitate to defend a fellow citizen with lethal force,even if necessary due to my lack of faith in the legal system.

this reminds me of the story of the guy in NYC who found a sicko crawling through his 3yr old daughters bedroom window in the middle of the night.he shot the guy dead and then got sent to prison for un-lawfull possession of a firearm.WTF...???
