Interesting. Out of 23 votes, the poor little DMDC hasn't received a single vote. It has the most comfortable handle of all the Mutts. And with a little refinishing, it's easy to turn it into an LE at substantially less cost than the original LE. I like the DMDC a lot. I prefer the fatter handle. The flat ground uncoated blade is nice, too, and easy to buff up. My
least favorite mutt is the original, much praised DM.
