You got one of those cheepo knock-offs. The maker mentioned those to me. Pisses him off, which is understandable.
Mine is hand-made out of spring steel, and partially sharpened, so I can stab a bear or ostrich. The sheath is also handmade, with a clip on the back. While he designed it as a throwing knife, I use it as a roo knife.
How old is this maker as those "knock offs" appear to be the standard throwing knife style that has been around in circuses and carnies for decades if not over 100 years
Maybe I am missing something here
