I realize that this really should be addressed to the Swamp but in as much as many of us frequent both forums I'll try here first (it's a little slow over there right now).

1) How many generations of HR's are there and how do they differ?
2) Is the HRLM considered to be a generation or is it something different entirely?
3) And what would be the closest knife in terms of size, geometry, balance etc. ever turned out by the Yard?
