i see a lot of over the shoulder bags being advertised for escape & evasion bags or for BOB's and i dont get it.

why over the shoulder instead of a full blown backpack???

if i was in a bad situation and was having to escape or evade or whatever i would want my hands free for many different reasons.

i wouldnt want some bag bouncing all over the place,up and down.left to right,fron to back if i had to run and getting in the way if i had to climb.

i guess the only advantage i can think of would be you wouldnt have to take the pack off to get inside it.everything would be right their.

now dont get me wrong,i have some of these but E&E and BOB's arent what i have in mind for them.i just use them to keep crap organized in.when its time to hit the rode its all going into a pack.

am i alone,crazy or drunk.....
