Very nice. Don't have an AK but lust after them.
How's the vibration when you hit hard wood? Does it "thunk" in like a DF or is the blade more lively?
I'm never any good at describing stuff like that, but I love the way the AK feels and chops. Having been in the SCA for many years, I've played with hundreds of swords, I really can't thing of many that felt as good.
Back when BCS had AKs in stock for a long time, it seemed like months, I kept thinking I'd have get one of them someday. However, there was no rush, they were a regular item I could pick up anytime. Then one day they were gone, but I wasn't worried, they'll make more, I just have to wait a while... I'm waiting...
It just goes to show, you've got to reach in and grab what's there or be prepared to walk away empty handed. Good snag, Jeff; I can see from the pictures that you're enjoying it.
