I usually never wear gloves, not when I'm gutting the animal never.

I was cutting the loin and meat in those photos and didnt want to contaminate it, plus I had several large cuts on my hands.

The "cool" sensation of having deer blood on your hands quickly wears off and becomes anoying, their blood is quite sticky.

One old hunters trick that I do do is I will cut the estrogen glands that are inside the rear legs of doe's off and lace them into my boots to mask my scent.
