looks like a great time!

i see i'm not the only one to cross paths with a rattlesnake this weekend <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

the nice thing about those guys is that they do everything in their power to avoid you. one can walk by them on the trail all day and never know they're there until they become agitated or you just get too close. then they rattle like there's no tomorrow and it is such a distinct sound that you'll jump the other direction.

overall, they're really docile animals and the only people who get bit are either a) messing with the snake or b) REALLY unlucky and step on it or put a hand in front of it while climbing on rocks.
