well said, J33psrOck, i think the ranger perform beyond anything you'd ever need a knife to do (realistically). I do which that noss had a test that included prying off larger chunks of wood than just with the tip. I find that with my thick knives, I use them to pry off hunks of fatwood and break up stumps, so I'd want my knives to be able to do that. Still, i don't think I'll be able to damage my ranger any time soon.
