Well, at around 10:00 I go bored and thought I go have some fun with my FBM. I haven't used this thing for quite some time. Last time cloak and I went into the woods, this knife saw very little action. I'm starting use my RMD more and more (curse you Cloak!!!!)

I know the FBM is really sharp, but I wanted to see just how sharp.

FUZZY STICK MAKING TIME!!!!

I started with some short curls just to see how the FBM cut. It was really easy and I got some really wide curls (didn't take a pic though).

So know I know it is ridiculously sharp. Long curls now.

Time to burn this sucker. A little Flint steel never hurt.

Here is it really small.

Now, it has gotten a little bigger and brighter.

This fire wasn't like the one that Andy made. I just didn't have any dry wood laying round. I wish I had big pile of fat wood, but finding some in the rain forest ain't your typical walk in the park. This wood that I had had been sitting out in the ugly weather of wet, sun, and more wet for quite some time.

I didn't want to burn the whole stick, so I did smother the fire early.

Next time I need to get a really long branch with little knots and get some really long curls.

Hope you guys enjoyed this little night trek. I'm off to sleep now. Getting to be that time, even though I don't need to get up tomorrow until 8.
