Wow. What a couple of months here. Sorry to all about not being around as much for the last while, it has been a bit of a crazy ride!
Ended up moving in April, things went fairly well with that, however anyone who as been there will tell you a smooth move is still very time consuming! Less than a month after that, my wife and I were in travel mode. We flew to the far side of the country and went on a whirlwind tour to visit a bunch of relatives across 4 provinces and two time zones.
Fortunately I managed to sneak away long enough to wander down to Atlanta. What a blast!
It was great to finally meet up with Dan! I was sorry that Patti & the rest couldn't make it, however it will give me a reason to make the trek again.
I was also able to meet a decent number of Dogs there. It was a wonderful experience to put a face to names & be able to sit down and relax with them.
It was an extremely fast trip but well worth it. For those of us involved, it was great to officially become one of the first batch of Inducted Dogs of the Yard!
Well, time to go finish unpacking and putting the groceries away. Spent almost as much on groceries as I did on steel! One of those things when you only get out to grocery shop every other month.
