Any of the above works for me. While I really like the Camp Tramp design and KG's design, the S7 would also be good. The light easy-handling S6 is a favorite of mine, and it can do light chopping, so the S7 could too. To really have a CT, you need the SR101 steel. I see no reason why Swamp Rat can't make another batch. The handles are right there in Wauseon. Call it a Classic. After a year of experience using SYs and SRs, I'd have to say that the edge holding of SR101 "edges out" the SR77. SR77 holds an edge about as well as a good 1095 steel blade but is tougher. The Taliwhacker seems to have a following, but I plan to avoid Afghanistan.
