The SARq may surprise you as it is blade heavy and you can really "snap" the blade. I would guess that the SARq and the Chopweiler will be fairly close with the SARq having a slight edge.

The Legend of the Camp Tramp dies hard. Some knives are just so right that we imagine them to be top performers in all categories. I can see no reason why the SY YG/YH would not chop as well, and I already know the Chopweiler can beat them. I love my S6 the way CT lovers do their tramps. It's a do anything knife. I am going to make every effort to bring out the strengths and weaknesses of the knives. Whether it comes out on top or not, I have a feeling that I will like the CT. I like well balanced all-around knives.
