The TV show was called Chiller theatre. It was hosted by Zachary the ghoul.
The Chiller convention is a bi-annual New Jersey sci-fi/horror/anime/movie convention. It was named in honor of the old chiller theatre show, and is attended/hosted by Zachary.
The wife and I have been attending it for maybe 8 years, at this point.
