How are you men sharpening your knives out in the field?
Just bought a Byrd Duckfoot. Not bad, just used the flat surface like a stone on my LE. Not popping hairs but pretty good for some free-hand sharpening.
Thinking I need a DMT "Diafold Double Sided Diamond Knife Sharpener" now. They look better.
"Dual purpose with compact convenience, the Double Sided Diafold Sharpener offers two 4" x 1" Diamond Whetstone surfaces in one lightweight, portable sharpener. Multi-use on blades, kitchen knives, specialty and garden tools, etc. Fine diamond (25 micron / 600 mesh) for a razor sharp edge. Coarse diamond (45 micron / 325) to quickly restore a neglected edge".
What do you think. Any here have one?

PS-Not interested in angle sharpening devices with rods, guides etc as I don't have the time out bush, nor do I have the patience. Plus I don't really care if I have a super-sharp blade. It's just not needed for my needs. Just as long as it cuts meat without too much effort & the odd piece of timber for the fire I'm happy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
