Thanks, we were hoping you guys would enjoy this length test. We promised that we would complete something like this some time ago.
Thanks for the advice Unsub. I don't mind some helpful hints and tips.
For the weights, this is one thing that we didn't really consider. I guess, while it might affect our conclusion, in any survival/bushcraft/hiking situation your usually gonna have one knife. With that in mind, weight should be to large of a factor.... that and we don't have a scale to measure oz. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
The Gerber, mind you, was designed with comfort in mind (whoops to many "minds"). They advertise the knife handles to not give blisters. That's not the case with prolong use. After I chopped with it for awhile, I got a pretty bad water blister near the joint of index finger. It hurt like crazy for several weeks. Used my SOCOM to make an aperture and squeeze all that gooey liquid out. *Shudders*
As with the Camera, we're using a Nikon D80 so, photos will be kept crisp and clean as possible. On the group shots. I think I did get all the knives in. Unless your talking about the drill test, which in that case the Nimravus was left out and not tested.
As I said before, some hints and tip is always a good thing for me.
