I love that photo of your BM-E 249 ,it has a great perspective.
I am loving the ergo handle as well and the shape is quite a bit longer and thinner than the current ASH blades.

The HC is nearly perfect as far as my taste in knives. It might not suit those with really big hands though. If you have large hands the Muppy is a better choice. It is more like a Fallkniven style knife than the usual entry tool type we see from the Busse boys. All mine were nice and sharp and numbered from 173 to 177 although the edge grinds are with a rougher belt. I like a rough edge like that for everything but wood cutting because it is like micro serrations.

I brought out the old triple beam scale and weighed a bunch of knives. The weights are on Sharp and Cloaks review thread on the outdoor section. I got some really interesting results. The SH-E is much heavier than the DFLE. The Swarden is even lighter than I had thought at about 40 grams. There are 28 grams in an aounce if anyone wants the American weights.
