Thanks, Andy. But I'm not sure I can afford the high-tech and expensive materials you used for your camo-duct-tape sheath! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
(Actually just holding on for whenever the SY guys get back to the office and start communicating about the sheath I've ordered.)
Rainwalker, I see what you mean about opening bottles with the yard hook if you really work at it--did so last night. It took almost a minute of awkward fumbling, but where there's a will, there's a way. Those of you who've done the Dremel thing to make the hook a better bottle-operer, exactly where do you remove the metal--from the inside of the hook, or the outside? Or both?
Oh: for what it's worth, the coating on the hook got somewhat scraped off by the Budweiser cap, so the worries about modding the previously-virginal hook just diminished. (Oh, and lest the Brits and other drinkers of good beer on the forum be scandalised by the mention of Budweiser, I also have some Mackeson's in the fridge--but am saving most of it for my wife--having bought 3 six-packs on the excuse that stout is good for nursing mums. I'm happy to report that the Mackeson's [English] stout is working nicely, and that our 2-week-old son is now well-fed!)
