I'll have to check out the Busse ganza offerings, as I have not yet done so. I REALLY like my Jackhammer from the last one!
Busse Combat is several times larger than ScrapYard, as I found out at Blade. When Dan says they are a small company, he MEANS it! That is one of the many things I specifically discussed with Dan at Blade. It is also one of the reasons I am happy and proud to deal with an AMERICAN company such as ScrapYard! While many bigger companies have moved to China, this little company holds to their principle of "Superior performance to Price Ratio"!
Along with my pictures from Blade, I believe I mentioned that Jim Crowell - member of the American Bladesmith Society - visited the ScrapYard booth while I was talking with Dan. Jim just could not believe that the Yard knives were being made here in the U.S.! Keep in mind that the Browning knives are made in China. I like my Crowell-Barker bowies, but wish they had been made here in the U.S. instead of Taiwan!
I hope that we hear from Dan soon, just like everyone else. And I hope it's good news!
