I like the secondary market and am going to have to find a BD on it because i did not score on the dog bowl.
I have had awesome experiences on the secondary market both buying and selling.
I try to give good deals particularly to serving military personal and have gotten some great ones in return. Just yesterday I got a Skookum Bush tool and an Atwood Atwrench for cost and an Emerson for 50$. I do most of my buying and selling on the CGN forum which is a Canadian forum with a lot of Scrapyard fans and a very small size so everyone knows each other.
It is still a good deal even if it is way more than retail if 1 you are willing to pay for it and 2 if you can sell it for 100% of what you paid which is rare for knives that don't have a strong secondary market. I look at the secondary market price as the real one and the retail price as the sale price.
