I've always felt that the Yard Keepers were a somewhat higher-end knife than the Dumpster Mutts. I think they're currently priced the same, but (due largely to timing) I've paid more for my YKs than DMs. Also, while I don't know the actual numbers, I believe that there have been a lot more DMs released than YKs.
