by "sheeple" i mean non-knife enthusiasts and by "goods" i mean knives

when i tell people i collect knives and they think i'm one of those dorks who have the cheap rambo or klingon warrior fantasy knives or something with skulls or a snake on it from the BUD-K catalog all over my room.i tell them "no",that i'm into to really high quality, high end knives.to them that means BUCK KNIVES..
...lol

i cant expect them to understand it.

i did however get a chance to show a co-worker whom i've tried to explain it too before a little of what i had been talking about.

a couple scrappers, swamprats, busse's,BRK&T's and a ZT 301 later and he got the picture.when he saw them he said "oh,you mean REALLY high quality stuff."

most people dont even know and cant imagine or even comprehend that such hardcore cutlery even exists.

i didnt even get into it with him about why or what makes them so special......steel used, heat treat, manufacturing processes ext, ext.he just had to take one look at them and pick one up and he just knew.

we are so far at the extreme end of the spectrum.to 90% of the population BUCK,GERBER & SWISS ARMY knives are the best knives out there and when they first see a COLD STEEL knife their jaw drops.

we are a small group/community.i do not know a single person in my life who shares my hobby/passion for these wallet busting, sharpened pieces of metal i collect.thank God for the internet and forums like these where i can come and hang out with not only fellow knife enthusiasts but such great dudes.

"just my thoughts ladies and gentlemen, just what i was feeling at the time."
