Well I guess it's more like I have a Nuclear Meltdown...FBM that is.
Man this thing is pretty awesome!!!
I really like all the nice comfy rounded edges, and the handle feels great too. Surprisingly it feels lighter than the FFBM, although I know it's heavier. I guess it due to the thinner longer blade.
Here's a comparison to the DFLE and the Chopweiler. I think the DFLE is still a more well rounded chopper due to it's lighter weight and RES-C handle, however the NMFBM really feels good I like the overall feel better than the FFBM. The Chopweiler also makes a more compact Camp knife but I'm sure the NM could out chop it as long as you don't mind carrying the extra weight. Some might say it's just an expensive machete, and I won't argue with that but it is a really nice expensive machete! It's got a nice convex grind too!
Here's another group shot with some other Busse kin blades.
I also wanted to take this opportunity to show off a couple of other new toys I got the other day thanks to my friend Tolly. Thanks again for the thoughtfulness, I'll be glad to help you and your brother out anytime. I hope it's Okay with you that I showed the toys off. They go good with that with big Busse don't they.
To all the others out there waiting patiently on their NMFBM's to arrive... It's worth the wait.
My pics may be a little rough, my computer's in the shop so I had to use my son's laptop to get them ready... I'll sure be glad when I get my computer back.
