Thanks gruntinhusbah ,that DJ you sold me is with it's new owner and he LOVES it. I gave him a really good deal because he was a nice young guy who could not afford a Busse-Kin knife otherwise. It was also a great choice for a hard use bush knife.
It cleaned up really well after I stripped it and did a quick polish. There was a nice even hamon and you could really feel the difference in the hard edge.
The Desertjack is one of those few knives that can do big job's with the help of a baton or even just by gripping back on the last bump of the handle. It can also do small detail work and should get some good use while the owner is out moosehunting.
