As far as I'm concerned, the problem with numbered LEs is that I want a specific # (I've got #60 in both DMLE and BDLE, so I'd like to continue the trend).
I think JYDs should be able to request their number when ordering if desired. A kind of "thank you for participating in the forum enough to be a JYD" kind of thing. Then later JYDs who didn't get in on the coin deal would still have something to look forward to. I think it would encourage sales/forum posting too.
