The AK is fantastic but also fantastically ugly especially if you are used to Ninhonto(real prewar katanas). I would love to take one even farther than Ban by
machining off all the guards so I could fit a traditional style handle and tsuka and do a nice wrap. I would definitely want Ban to do the edge.
I do have a sword similar to what I want with an AK It is not Infi but it is really good spring steel that can chop cement easily and a beautiful silk wrap.
