The DF have the same length blade as the FBM, 10".



Unless your talking about the NMFBM, which I forget length of, but it's longer then 10" for sure. The DFCG already chops extremely well (with good edge geometry), an extra 2" won't make a huge difference (according to tests between all the different FBMs and the NMFBM).
