Let me first say I love my Yard Hook. I like the recurve and it looks great too.
I always wondered why I didn't opt for the Yard Guard though.

Todays mail came from Ohio and to my surprise they took the recurve out of the Yard Guard and it became a Son of Dog Father!!!

The cutting edge which is extraordinarily sharp is 6 1/4 inches, with a overall length of 12 1/2 inches. This is my first Tan Scrap Yard Knife and I am overjoyed to have a new knife for Christmas.

Even better it fits the Spec Ops sheath that Horn Dog blessed me for my birthday this year. So no need for another sheath. It also fits like a glove in my Rainwalker Red Kydex sheath but Red and Tan do NOT go together very well,so I tonight wear it in the Bushmaster sheath from Victor.

By far the sharpest blade I have bought from Scrap Yard but I think if I had my way I'd have opted for a 7 1/2 inch cutting edge to bring it a bit closer to the name it bears.

All in all it's a new Scrapper and that's great...now BLD522 what ever shall we dream up next for a new run?

I got the greatest calander the other day...I recognise some of those sheaths!
