The SOD feels a bit heavier than the CT. SOD is about 1/4inch longer than the CT (that could be my somewhat wear out CT tip tho) and the CT is differentially tempered and SOD is not.

The CT goes with me every summer to the camp but I "might" bring the SOD next year just to try out how it does in the woods.
