I too am sorry to hear about your bad sheath experience. Kydex will bite and gouge Res-C if the edges are smoothed out or shaped well. Over time any sheath will cause some slight rubbing or wear but it should be fairly minimal.

I'm interested in seeing the pics of the knife and the sheath.
