I use mine for camping mostly!

Chopping and processing firewood...etc.

Most of these knives are overkill, but I like the exclusivity of having a blade of this caliber, along with the piece of mind that I can do pretty much what ever I want to it.

I agree with that, piece of mind is important . I mean I think back to that post regarding the camp tramp where the user used the knife to cut himself out of a car that had rolled. Great story and really I would think that something like that would be the extreme case of what we would use our knives for really and that was 52-100 and it held up great. Unless you are working as a part time bank robber and need to pry open a bank vault with your knife than the need for the extra lateral strength is silly imho.
