Just to let you guys know, I did wash the handle and it feels better. It was odd to me that the muddier felt better wet than dry as I washed it!

I've washed the handles on my Howling Rat and Camp Tramp before, but since I just got the SS4 and it was unused, it didn't occur to me it probably has been handled a lot.

Think after my wife gets photos off the camera and it's less crazy cold, I want to test the HR and SS4 against each other.
