i live in one of the snowiest cities in the US.we average 115 inches a year.we have a thing called the snow belt about 15 min north of here where all the the lake effect snow from lake ontario creates a band.they got 110 inches in 2 days 2 winters ago.i was on the highway at the time and counted over 20 tractor trailers off the road and we where all doing 5 mph.just insane.never seen anything like it and probably never will.a 45 min drive took hours and then they shut the highway down so i couldnt even get home the right way.

it actually gets down right deadly at times on the roads.
