I dont have an SS4, but I do have the Bravo-1. The Bravo-1 is a great knife, mine has lost it's edge and I have not bought the materials needed to strop it back to life.....I haven't done this before. Anyway as i am not use to convex edges it should be fun, but Bravo -1 has a great feel and it's got a nice feel to it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
That Bravo-1 will snap right back into shape with no problem! Get you a strop and get after it. If it's too far gone for the strop, do the old mouse pad and sandpaper trick. Bark River has a good tutorial right

As for the subject of this thread, any of the big knives are excellent choices, and then pair one of them up with an SS4 and you're good to go. You could also throw a One-Hand Trekker in your pack somewhere and you'd really be prepared!
