I've gotten more into fire building in the past few years for some reason.When I was younger it was just get together with some friends and throw some wood in a pile soak it in gasoline and light it with a Bic!Nowadays I like to hike off into the woods with maybe just a firesteel or maybe not even that.It's alot of fun experimenting with different techniques that I've learned from books and even television.Just in my house I've found that the two most flammable tinders that ars readily availabe are toilet pape and dryer lint,both will catch with the slightest spark.
