Nothing wrong with the SKS but I strongly prefer the AK. I like the pistol grip stock, more options for modifying, detachable mags. AK's are getting expensive these days though. I've seen shitty ones go for $700+. Still can get a good SKS (Noricos are great) for around $350-400.

These days I own a Lancaster Polish underfolder and an Arsenal Krink. Both excellent weapons. I'd also like to pick up a Mak-90, owned a post ban version a few years back and it was a very fine weapon.





The Saigas don't take standard AK mags so I would stay away from them. I own a Saiga 12 but that's because its a 12 gauge. Now that is a fun gun.
