i know black is the forefather of everything tactical but since we started fighting in the deserts and mountains of iraq and afghanistan tan and/or coyote brown have lost their innocence and are now what OD green used to be.

i ask this because i am buying a new backpack for the B.O.B. i keep in the trunk and i want it to be "low-key".therefor i want the least tactical color and while MOLLE straps are great they scream military/tactical so none of them either.

i've decided on the 3-day pack from EAGLE because while i dont want it to look military/tactical i want the proven reliability and performance of something that is and its a great pack for the money.

EAGLE makes some packs designed specifically for my problem that come in more inconspicuous colors like blue but they cost twice as much and i just dont like them.while the 3-day can look a little bit tactical if in the right color i think it could fly under the radar a majority of the time, especially to the untrained eye.

so which is less tactical/military,black or tan/coyote brown??
