Indeed it does. This is the ATC LaGana hawk. Since ATC can actually use Peter LaGana's name, I would expect it to be a better version. The head seems to have similar dimensions, but the handle isn't tapered like the CS copy. It is an oval, textured nylon handle. Everyone I have talked to has told me that it solves the basic problem of the weak haft attachment of the CS VH. It actually uses a bolt instead of a wedge to expand the haft into the head. I can try to get a pic of it later. ATC says this hawk is made of 1070 while CS says theirs is made of 1055.
Actually, I really am lost as to exactly what the relationship between ATC and CS really is. I think CS might own ATC, but ATC only supplies CS with certain hawks. IOW, I think CS owns ATC, who produces the hawks for both of them, but they sell different lines. Oddly enough, ATC won't even link to CS off their link page.
