While waiting for the next Scrapyard knife....


Anyone tried using Duracoat on a knife? Comes in a lot of colors and good reports as firearms finish.

Just bought an old Ranger RD-7 and looks like the original black finish was removed some how.

Should I have it coated?

Anyone do this?

If not, can someone get rid of the dings and scratches and put a new matte finish on it?

I also need some new OD Green G-10 handles to replace the black micarta.

Am I wasting my time? (This question is moot, by the way!)

Advice from the Yard Needed?
