My quick raid on Knob Creek...Notes from Knob Creek - Spring 2009I just had to address a problem with my Knob Creek payment; due to the size of that charge and a few online purchases (including the last two Bark River Claxs at the DLT Trading Company last night), my Discover card issuer's fraud prevention department blocked my card. It's not that I was anywhere close to my limit, but the number and amount of transactions in a short time-span raised flags for them. I called Discover, verified who I was and confirmed that the charges are valid, so they released my account. Then I called Busse Combat and they were able to process the charge. It's good that they're monitoring my account in case my card ever gets stolen, but just freezing it like that was disruptive.
